How to find us

There is a direct bus from Helsinki airport to Turku bus station - but no trains. The bus leaves from platform 14 outside the arrival terminal. Check the timetable from www.matkahuolto.fi (From: Helsinki-Vantaa, To: Turku)

From Turku airport take bus number 1 to the bus stop in front of the bus station. Then walk ahead to the next traffic lights (=50 meters), turn right and that's our Tuureporinkatu. We are located at the next crossing about 150 meters away.

From the harbour take also bus number 1 but this time to the market square. From there across the square and up the street passing by cinema is a 500 meters walk to us.

Trains leave from Helsinki city centre and they run every hour on the hour (...1200, 1300, 1400, ...). The journey takes two hours. Just avoid 'supertrain' Pendolino. It has got tiny little windows, so you cannot follow the sceeneries, the journey takes same two hours - but the price is 'super'. Best is an Intercity. It's a double-decker and if you reserve your seats upstairs, you'll have a splendid view over the landscape.

Hidden gems for budget travellers - like ourselves...

Dragon Palace (Chinese), Dennis (Italian with fresh pasta), Rosso (Finnish version of Italian style especially for families with children), La Luna (A small pizzeria), Sokos restaurants' after work buffet (Several), Sikhar (Nepalese with no compromise spices), Bossa (Brasilian and not so budget but still worth to wine and dine).
If you are looking for traditional Finnish food then Turku is not the correct place. What you'll find is not worth of the price asked for it. But there is a Viking restaurant called Harald, where you'll have unique atmosphere and wildlife food.

We like you to feel like home!
