Extension and alternations
Clients: Lääkäriasema Pulssi Oy, Hartela Oy

Existing building constructed 1976 ( Kiinteistö Oy Yhdeksän ) and 1983 ( Kiinteistö Sampo Humalisto ). Both buildings were designed by Arkkitehtitoimisto Pekka Pitkänen.

The hospital is situated in two neighbouring buildings, originally in office and commercial uses. The building comprises 5 floors above ground and one below.

Alteration work:

1999-2000 Alterations, (phase I)
Extension to Kiinteistö Oy Yhdeksän, 2440m², new patient's lift and main entrance. 30-bed ward constructed on the 4th floor, new doctors' surgeries added to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.. Administration spaces also added..
2001 Alterations, (phase ll) 1073 m²
New casualty department constructed on the ground floor of the Sampo Humalisto building, along with the Imaging Centre including a complete digital x-ray department. Also on the floor is a magnetic imaging department which stayed operational during the entire construction process.
2001- 2003 Alterations, (phase lll) 2000m²
Alterations will be made to the basement, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the Sampo Humalisto building.

All floors in the hospital remained operational during construction.
