My "doggy-life" started in1969 with Dalmatians. My first dog was Fin & S Sh Ch & Fin Ob Ch Jennifer. I bred the first litter from her 1971. The prefix Caballus referes to the latin name of  horse (Equus caballus).  I bred totally four Dalmatian litters under my Caballus-prefix.
My first Curly was Int, FIN, DK Ch Darelyn Tamara. She came 1986 from Mrs.Audrey Nicholls's famous kennels in England and was sired by breed record CC-holder and multi BIS-winner Ch Darelyn Rifleman. Tamara whelped 3 times. The first litter (Caballus C-litter) by Int.Ch Darelyn Vincent, second A.I. with frozen semen from Australia, Ch Ladybrow Bolshan (just one puppy), third litter by
FIN Ob&Tr&Sh Ch Blazeaway Out Foraduck, who came from Viki Knowles, Australia. This is Caballus Out for a -litter.

Caballus Out for a Blaze is Int. Champion and Champion of all Nordic Countries. The made the ground to my succeess in breeding. She has had 3 litters, first 2 by A.I. with fresh semen from England:
Caballus E-litter is by Sh Ch Gladrags Dynamite, F-litter by Darelyn Double Dutch,
both owned by Anthony and Elaine Robinson, U.K. The third litter was by Fin Ch Caballus Kestrel (Cornish Marksman x Caballus Electra), the M-litter and last, A.I. with frozen semen from Daelyb Dixon at Jancliff, which produced one puppy, Caballus Napoleon, born February 2000.

Int&FIN&DK&N Ch Caballus Electra has had a litter by
Int&FIN&N Ch Caballus Fair Dinkum. From this litter of 3 there was a dog in England: Caballus Grand Slam living with his grand- and grandgrandsire. He had a great show and working carreer in England for 2,5 years. He went on winning BIS at BCCRC Champ Show 97 and gained Full Ch title under 2-years of age. He came back home to Caballus in July -99. Electra's next litter was AI with fresh semen from Holland, Multi Ch Multi W Cornish Marksman, produced three dogs, all champions by now, Kingfisher even the second Caballus bred Full Champion in England.

1997 I imported my first Gordon Setter bitch from Mrs. Esther Joseph, Australia.
She is Triseter Ebonie Nerissa. Nerissa was bred 1999 to Ch Shannas Journalist, English bred dog in Italy. This AI produced 13 puppies!  The most successfull dog from this Gordon litter is It, Int Ch, GB Sh Ch Caballus Ebonie Adonis Ludstar, top winning Gordon currently in UK.

I am working and showing my dogs. All my dogs have achieved at least the FCI working certificate. I go shooting in autumn with the dogs.
It's great fun at least for the dogs.

All my dogs, and most of the dogs I've bred, are hip X-rayed and eye checked and GSD tested.

I have imported Curlies from England (Darelyn Tamara, Gladrags Commander), Australia (Blazeaway Out Foraduck and Blazeaway Winna Takesall) and New Zealand (Fernland All Black).
I have been exporting Curlies to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, England, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Russia, Poland, United States (Caballus La Nina and Caballus Ursula) and Australia (Caballus Far Out).

I was the chairman of the organizing committee for the
Curly World Seminar 8-10.6.1998.

I have been FCI-licenced judge since -93.
Today I am qualified to judge all breeds in FCI Group 7 and Group 8 (all Gundogs) and Dalmatians and Rhodesian Ridgebacks from Group 6. I have been judging in all Scandinavian countries, Netherlands, Great Britain (CCRC A-list), Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, Russia, Australia and United States (ACCRC National Speciality in Memphis 2006).

Me and my husband Tuomas are full-time small animal practitioners in
Pet-Vet Small Animal Clinic, Turku, Finland
From January 2000 I have been a partner of CLONE Europe LTD, doing dog semen freezing and inseminations with this great US system developed by George Govett.
