  • (Fake fight) After freeing the infant slaves from the catacombs, Indy and Short Round fight some guards. Shortly before he gets into the wagon, Short Round gives a side kick to one of the guards, who lifts his arms as if he were totally defeated, and then falls on a second guard, who falls on a third one, like dominos (not to mention that they ALL lift their arms). - Yann Ropers
  • When Jones is thrown into the mine cart by the guard, he is obviously a dummy (look at Indy's hand). - David
  • When Willie and Indy are in the cockpit of the cargo plane, Indy says something to Shorty than Shorty answers. Look over Indy's shoulder. You can see someone in the plane much taller than Shorty! - Markie
  • When Indy and Willie are riding the car being driven by Short Round while being chased by the thugs, the car pushes a rickshaw with a sailor and an Asian girl riding on it. In the first shot, the sailor is sitting on the left side of the girl, then the camera shifts to another shot, when it shifts back to the couple, the sailor is now sitting on the right side of the girl. Then the camera shifts again, and when it shifts back to the shot where the rickshaw crashes, the sailor returns to his original position on the left side of the girl. - tochi
  • I've seen this movie dozens of times and a couple of things that are WAY beyond the scope of 'artistic license' are used in the film. For instance the part where Mola Ram decides to flood the tunnel with the huge water tank to drown Indy and the others. For at least five minutes they have been racing at about thirty or forty mph down the tunnel, which was composed of huge grottos and caverns, and this nutcase (Spielberg or Mola Ram) thinks that a mere few thousand gallons is going to kill them? Right. It would take a drained Lake Erie and a good part of Lake Tahoe to flood that tunnel. Also, the part where they are running from the water. Granted, it is supposed to be dramatic, but I found myself so stunned by the unreality, it was almost insulting. The water was roaring at them at six times their speed, they had at least a hundred feet to go, and it's right behind them! And still they make it. Sure. - GreatGrumbledook
  • When our heroes are out on the ledge, the scene below is of a huge, slow-moving river, very calm and wide. But when he is ready to cut the rope on the bridge, a long shot shows the gorge as being a small rocy one no more than forty feet deep with a small creek running through it. Pretty obvious. And then, when the bad guys are dropping like flies at the cutting of the rope, the river is again huge and slow. The cliffs are sheer. - GreatGrumbledook
  • Also, when Mola Ram falls, do you notice that even though he clips the cliffside as he falls, he takes more turns than an Indy 500 racer? - GreatGrumbledook
  • When they are on the ledge and the massive jets of high-pressure water are shooting out with huge pieces of debris, the shot of the far-below river is clear and undisturbed. Not a ripple from all the stuff falling into it. - GreatGrumbledook
  • At the beginning of the movie when the pilots jump out of the plane while Indie and Willie and the little Asian boy (Shorty) are sleeping and after the three main characters jump out on the raft, I think everyone here has seen this. When the plain crashes in the background, CLEARLY FAKE TO AN EXTREME THAT MAKES THIS MOVIE LOOK LIKE A CHEAP BUDGET FILM!! - stevo
  • When Indie goes into the little hidden cave in Willie's bedroom, it is completely dark. Indie then lights a single match and it illuminates the entire crawlspace! Not to mention that the match's little flame is above Indie's hand yet his hand's shadow is above his hand on the wall! - stevo
  • Just a thought. How does everyone (even the little slave boys in the cage in the cave) know English when they aren't even in America I don't think? The slave drivers much be good teachers as well as good whippers! - stevo
  • (Crew/equipment visible) In the beginning of the mine cart racing you can see a safety net to slow down the cart for a short period of time. You can see it in slow-motion. Quite unnecessary remark, but still.. - puhh

Corrected Goofs

  • After Indiana Jones, Shorty and the singer Willie, have leaped to safety from the plane in their raft, they fall off a cliff into a river. When the singer; Willie, begins complaining in the raft she says..."and I hate the water, and I hate you!" But the part where she says you is voiced over by Indiana Jones and she is moving her mouth! - Joie Danete
    • Correction: Joie Danete stated that Willie's voice in the raft was voiced over by Harrison Ford. WRONG! Why would they go and do a stupid thing like that? She just lowered her voice really low to give her little yell of hate some comic relief. Clearly not Ford's voice! - stevo
