  • For a brief second just when Paul Sarone (Jon Voight) is thrown overboard, a nearby waterfall flows upward.
  • The snake swallows Paul Sarone head first and it also spits him out head-first - Fast turnaround.
    • Correction: Someone said the Sarone is swallowed head first then spite out head first well he wasn't, I watched the movie and it was feet first. - adam
  • When the Voight character throws a bucket of monkey blood over his captives, you can see the blood make-up on them before the 'blood' is supposed to hit them. In fact, the 'blood' doesn't go near them - it is thrown diagonally so that it does not hit the supposed target! - Da King
  • When the Jon Voight character is cutting up the fish close to the beginning of the film, he chops it up into slices, and then the camera cuts away to the other characters. When the camera cuts back, the fish is magically whole again. - Da King
  • When the girl is strangled in the boat, after she is dead you can see her abdomen moving as she breaths. - Da King
  • Near the end of the movie the heroes are in front of a waterfall and they are trying to free their boat which is stuck on a reef (or something). When the boat is freed, it's really just a reversal of the same footage of it getting stuck... You can see the waterfalls flowing backwards (bottom to top) in the background. - Rick

As he's doing it the camera switches and the cigar seems to magically disappear from his hand. (DVD Special Edition) - schiltzamania

  • Last few scenes take place in the late 1800's. Some Russian soldiers are leaving for war. The people in the crowd are waving the modern flag of the Russian Federation. - Jennifer
    • Correction: Russia did have the same kind of flag in the late 1800's! It was changed after the Soviet-revolution, and changed back after the brake down in the early 90's.- jaana

  • At the end when Gary sees everything that is going on, his hair is combed one way and the next shot on him his hair is combed the other way. - acsooley
  • In the movie "AntiTrust" they are working on a VB-based software program however during the beginning sequence you can clearly see that the credits are in HTML! - David Moore

  • The magnetic tape on the reel-to-reel player in the helicopter doesn't pass over the play heads.
  • The soldiers in the film use M-16's with banana clips even though these were not used by the U.S. military at the time the film is taking place. - David
  • When the soldiers are landing on the shore of the Vietnamese village, the shadow of the camera is clearly visible. - David
  • When the USO show arrives with the playmates, the helicopter rotors are winding down. When a playmate is introduced, she's standing upon the roof of one of the copters, with the rotors standing still. The scene changes to a long shot with the show beginning, and the copter rotors still winding down, with no playmate on any copter's roof. - Kieth Moreland

In the scene where the woman Dusty is in a fight with that man, when she hits him with that pump thing, notice she moves the handle up, and the camera instantly cuts and shows the other end moving up too and catching the guy in the chin. • Michael supposedly lives in Reston, VA, which is in Fairfax County; throughout the movie, the street signs in his neighborhood are white letters on a green sign - however in Fairfax County all street signs are white letters on blue signs. - Scott
    • Comment: I live in Fairfax County, and my street sign is green with white letters. Some of them are blue, but there are some green signs, so this may not be a goof. - Kgurl
  • When Michael is chasing the parcel van in the rental car, the back window goes back and forth from dry to covered with water drops. - Scott
  • During the fight scene in the warehouse between Jeff Bridges and Tim Robbins, Jeff clearly has a bloody nose. They cut away to Jeff and when they come back to Tim there is no blood.
  • When Jeff Bridges girlfriend is following Tim to the warehouse/delivery company she is supposedly looking in her rear view mirror. It looks like Jeff gets out of the passenger side of the car. I think the camera had to use an extra mirror or something or the image was reversed.
  • When Michael is chasing the delivery van he gets hit in the back of the car by a bus the trunk flies open. In the next scene when Michael is still driving the trunk is close with barely any damage. - Loaded1215

  Army of Darkness (1993)
  • In the beginning when Ash flies out of the door into the time portal, you can see the harness and cable holding him in the air. - KilljoyTheKlown

  • Ash's shotgun disappears and reappears at will during the "Throw Them in the Pit" sequence. (Director's Cut) - Cathy

But in Army of dankness when Ash is having his armor fitted they open the trunk of his broken car there is a box of shells in there. Also the shells were Yellow in Evil Dead 1 and 2, but for some reason the shells are red in Army of Dankness. - nobody1010

  Around the Fire (2000?)
  • When Simon is brought home after supposedly shoplifting a pen, his hair is kind of in front of his face on one side, and scruffy. In a couple of shots, his hair is cleanly smoothed behind his ear. In the next shot, back in front of his face it is, scruffed up again. In the next shot, it's smoothed behind his ear. This continues on for the entire scene. - Jane

  Artificial Intelligence: AI (2001)
  • In the scene where David (the Mecha) is having an eating contest with Martin at the dinner table, Teddy is sitting in between them, after Teddy says "David, you'll break" the camera pans out, and Teddy disappeared! - Mr Tragedy
  • This isn't a goof, but I'm wondering is Teddy from A.I. a tribute to HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey? Same voice, same demeanor...maybe? - Mr Tragedy
  • Towards the end of the movie, the beings are explaining to David that they can re-create a human if they have a fingernail or a piece of bone. Teddy pulls out the hair that David had cut from Monica earlier in the film. The only problem is, is that in order to re-create the human DNA would be needed, since "cut" hair contains no roots or hair follicles the sample would be useless. - wildlife
    • Correction: Contrary to what 'wildlife' said, DNA could, in fact, be extracted from 'cut' human hair. When the aliens asked for 'fingernails' or 'bones', they weren't actually referring to a whole fingernail pulled out from one's finger; or a whole femur (leg bone). They were asking for mere fragments of bones or nail clippings. Nails and hair are basically made up of the same thing, dead cells. And if you watch 'Discovery Channel', you'd learn about these things a little more. - bitoy
    • Comment: Bitoy is right wildlife. Wildlife, I think you are referring to the old AB typing that is pre-DNA testing, in that case you would need roots, but this is way in the future. - tallteen2
  • When the kid's friend says, "Does he have DOS?" and later explains, "It stands for Danger Avoidance System". That wouldn't work because "Avoidance" begins with the letter "A" not "O". (VHS) - mandie
    • Correction: That's because it's 'DAS', not 'DOS'. - ryan
      • Comment: Ryan, if it is "DAS" then why did the other kid CLEARLY say "DOS is good". - mandie
        • Comment: Uh, I don't know what that has to do with the fact that it's "DAS" and not "DOS", other than how it's pronounced. A script I read states that it's "DAS" anyway, that's where I got it from. If you don't wanna believe it then so be it. - ryan
      • Explanation: About the DOS/DAS debate: He clearly says DAS (dahs), not DOS (doss). And when the other boy says "DAS is good," he's imitating the German phrase "Das ist gut." He even says it with a slight German accent. - Sam

  • When Melvin, Carol and Simon are driving in the car (with the top down), Simon says to Carol, I'll tell you about my Mom and Dad. When Carol stops the car, to show her undivided attention, the convertible top is up. - Doug
  • When Carol runs in the rain over to Melvin's apartment, her T-shirt gets soaking wet. When she enters the building we can clearly see that she is wearing a bra, but when she gets to Melvin's door she obviously is not wearing a bra. A wet T-shirt on a woman with no bra reveals quite a lot. She even realizes that her self and quickly covers her chest. "Where the hell did my bra disappear?" - Webmaster
  • When Helen Hunt is riding the bus the digital destination sign reads "Out of Service". - Arak
  • (Continuity) When Carol & Simon are in the hotel on the bed just when he has started to draw her, he rips part of his cast off that covers his hand.   Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001)
  • Milo Thatch meets Kida for the first time, and trying to break the language barrier asks her, "Parle vous Francais" (Do you speak French)? To which she answers, "Oui" (Yes)! They speak everything down there, it turns out. He surmises that they had a "Tower of Bable thing" going on in Atlantis. Okay, even if they spoke "French"...the name France would have not have been in use at the time Altantis slipped underground, it wouldn't have even been known as Gaul. - Kieth Moreland
  • In the scene where Milo Thatch is explaining his theory to his "audience," he has to rub up against the chalk board for some reason. When he returns to facing his audience, he finds that his diagram has been "lifted" from the chalkboard to his clothing. He merely assumes his place in front of the chalkboard to maintain continuity of his presentation. Only one problem: when he would have transferred the chalk diagram, then turned around, the reverse view of the diagram would have been on his clothing. - Kieth Moreland
  • The submarine that Milo and the other Atlantis explorers use at the beginning of their trip had a steam engine to power it, where it is fueled by coal. This would be impossible, because 1.) because the sub is underwater, with no smokestacks, there's no way in physics for the smoke to escape, and 2.) steam engines can only be found among trains and boats while turn-of-the-century subs ran on diesel or gasoline. - J. Shughart
  • When Milo and the gang first enter Atlantis the digger is right behind them. As the scenes cut and show different angles, the digger has disappeared! (DVD) - Dawn
  • In the beginning, when Milo is explaining his theory, he says that the shepard's journal was supposedly in Ireland, but instead it was on Iceland. I beg your pardon, but, when was this taking place? Back at the time of Atlantis, it would have been called by some ancient name! - lil red
  • (Revealing mistakes) Alright, when they're underground and are trekking for months and months, forever and ever, Amen Alleluia, etc., they pass through a lot of different climates. At one point they get all hot and the background is like a desert and a few scenes later, they pass through snow. FIRST of all, it can't snow underground. There can't be clouds to snow underground, and there was no sun to evaporate the water so it COULD snow. Second, again, there is no sun. Therefore, no desert. - superchik1288

  Atomic Train (2002)
  • (Factual errors) If a train was carrying a nuclear warhead, near a major city, it would have cars packed full of armed military personnel guarding it. (TV) - PyRoPHiLe
  • (Factual errors) Not that they would ship it assembled and ready to blow anyway. Or ship it on a train that was carrying pure elemental sodium. Especially not with the sodium in the same car as the bomb. Or ship it in a regular boxcar (they have special train cars for radioactive materials). The train didn't even have an emergency braking system. The contents of the train alone were so full of plot holes that it make the movie pointless. (TV) - PyRoPHiLe

  Aviator, The (1985)
  • In the beginning of the movie a mockup Tiger Moth, standing in for some type of 1918 U.S. Army training aircraft, crashes into a building. The wooden building collapses, but the plane, that dives quite steeply into the building, remains almost totally intact until it explodes in flames several seconds after the crash. The planes in 1918 were built of wooden framework with fabric skins and the whole aircraft, maybe except for the tail section, should have been smashed to debris. - Olav Westerman
  • The plot involves a couple of persons who are lost in a forest in the mountains. One of them almost by accident finds the hut of a railroad-controller of some sort. The hut is supposed to be near the railroad, but no tracks can be seen anywhere. - Olav Westerman
  • (Anachronism) Set in 1969, the rear end of a 1972 Chevy Impala is seen in a parking lot as Robin Williams' character calls from a window. (VHS) - Drew
