- Killing Zoe is directed & written by
Roger Avery. He also was a writer for Pulp
Fiction. I found two references to Pulp Fiction:
In Killing Zoe Eric Stolz plays the role of
Zed, who uses drugs. In Pulp Fiction "Zed"
is a biker, on whose ass Marcellus gets medieval.
Furthermore; Stolz appears in Pulp Fiction
as a drug dealer. (Source: Observation) -

- I haven't seen the movie in a long time
but when I watched it I noticed that the name
of the town is the same as the towns name
in the Goonies in fact if you look in the
background in the scenes where the kids are
reciting the address you can see the rock
and the beach used in the Goonies. - Ash
- Comment: It's
a well known fact that both the movies
Kindergarten Cop and The Goonies were
filmed in Astoria, Oregon. - Sonja
- Comment: Yes
this is true, the name of the town in
Kindergarten Cop is Astoria, the same
town in The Goonies AND Short Circuit.

- Ok this is from a man I used to know...he
worked as some kind of proofreading thing
on films. Forgive me for not knowing the exact
name of it. But anyway he used to punch holes
along the edge of the film to kick up the
lamp if there was a dark scene. OK now he
was around when King Kong came out. And he
SAW the Deleted Spider scene. The director
had to cut it out because it was too graphic
and it was all people talked about after walking
out the theater during the first premiers.
So with Tears in his eyes he cut the scene
out Himself. No one has ever seen this missing
footage. It's pretty unlikely anyone ever
will. But on the chance there is An ORIGINAL
Copy out there. Let us Know about it. Please
E-mail me if you've heard anything about it.

no fucking shit. That's what the whole

- Because the character that Russell Crowe
played in the movie was supposed to be a non-drinker,
Crowe himself gave up drinking for the 5 1/2
months that the movie took to film. He says
it was the worst time in his entire life.

- Correction: Russell
Crowe's character DID drink in the movie.
When he first talked to Kim Basinger,
she offered him a drink and he told her
he liked straight Scotch. (Source: the

Crowe didn't give up drinking for the
movie, but since his character, Bud White
drank Scotch. Much to Russell's displeasure,
he voiced some disagreement with this
to James Ellroy, the Author of LA Confidential.

- At the beginning of the movie in the muddy
football game there is a scene where the running
back pulls out a gun and starts shooting the
defensive players in order to score a touchdown.
This running back is none other than Mr. Tai-bo
himself, Billy Blanks. Though his short role
stated just before he offs himself, "Isn't

can be that bad with the money he's making
now with Tai-bo. (Source: movie) - Kid

- During the final scene with Jim Carrey on

movie was released that the scene at the end

himself and busted up his shins really bad

(for about 2 seconds) is sporting
a boner. This is true. It is
not his knee. He never lifts

the priest's boner in the
wedding scene...well honestly,
it is not his penis or his

- In the Grand Central Station scene where
the two potheads try to get Adrian to get
in the flask, they see a clock on the wall
that says 12:05. And when you see it in the
background where Adrian is walking over towards
them to almost drink out of the flask, you
can see it still says 12:05, as it should.
The clock in that scene is CG because when
they first filmed the scene it didn't say
12:05, so to keep from making a blooper, they
added in a CG clock that says 12:05. - Jeremy
- In the scene where Nicky meets his mother
in heaven you will see Carl Weathers have

"Deacon" the mad and blind preacher,

- The original actor who played Spanky in
the tv series has a cameo in the movie as
Spanky's father. - TAZ
- Correction:
No. George Robert Phillips (Spanky) McFarland
was the original. In this 1994 movie Spanky's
dad is played by Eric 'Sparky' Edwards.
Please note that McFarland was born in
1928. This would have made him age 65
during shooting! (Eric Edwards was born
in 1966, making him 27 during shooting.)

- Mannie (Moritz Bleibtreu's) is given a phone
card from a very kind blind woman. The woman
is Moritz's real-life mother whom is also
a well known actress in her country. - Bo
Jangels
- The segments of this movie involving Lola
or Manni were filmed on 35mm film, while all
of the other scenes were filmed on a standard
handheld camera. It is more obvious on a big
screen, but with careful observation the a
substantial difference in quality. One of
the easiest parts to spot this is in the third
scenario where the bum buys the man with the
bike a drink. - Raven
- Many of the scenes in the movie were shot
at the actual sites where the real fighting
had occurred, but most of the beach-scenes
were filmed on Corsica and the casino-set
was not built up in the real Ouistreham, since
that town had been rebuilt and was too modern
to portray the 1944 era. - Olav
Westerman
- Despite the Grand Scale of the movie, apart
from the landing boats there are very few
real ships on screen. There are also only
four real aircraft (two German Messerschmitts
and two British Spitfires, the rest is models
except for a couple of full scale glider-mockups).
Almost every scene showing paratroopers moving
through the night after their landings, and
several other outdoor-scenes were filmed at
indoor soundstages. - Olav
Westerman
- The scenes showing big warships at sea and
big numbers of paratroopers in the sky, were
not set up for the movie, but were filmed
during military exercises. - Olav
Westerman
- Actually, there is some newsreel-footage
in the movie. For example: In the beginning
when Field Marshal von Rundstedt (Paul Hartmann)
and Major General Blumentritt (Curt Jürgens)
salute some marching troops, the troops are
real German soldiers filmed during the war,
and when Field Marshal Rommel (Werner Hinz)
inspects the beach fortifications, a scene
showing a gun being moved is stock wartime
footage. - Olav Westerman
- The only two German pilots who attacked
the invasion-beaches, Josef Pips Priller and
his wingman Wodarczyk in real life flew Focke
Wulf 190 fighters. In the movie they fly Messerschmitt
108 Taifuns, a four seated, unarmed aircraft
used by Luftwaffe to transport personnel (there
didn't exist any flyable FW 190:s when the
movie was produced). - Olav
Westerman
- Red Buttons, who portrayed Private John
Steele, who got stuck with his parachute in
the church-tower in S:t Mere Eglise, was afraid
of being high above the ground, and suffered
a lot during the filming of those scenes.
- Olav Westerman
- Most of the paratroopers in the sky over
S:t Mere Eglise were small-scale dummies of
the same size as the Ruperts (dolls with firecrackers)
shown in the film. - Olav
Westerman
- In a very short scene Nicholas Stuart plays
the part of one of the leading American generals,
Omar N Bradley. He just stands there, not
speaking a single line. The part is obviously
unimportant for the plot, but maybe it is
included because the real General Bradley
was one of the military advisors during the
production. - Olav Westerman
- The Rupert dummies dropped on the fields
of Normandy in the film were fabricated in
appearance. The actual dummies used during
the real operation in 1944 did not look like
tiny paratroopers, but were actually made
of simple khaki colored canvas, with a human
like shape. (Source: Well known militaria

- At the end of the movie Mitch (Samuel L.
Jackson) tells Caitlin that she has her mothers
eyes, this I believe is reference to the scene
where Charlie (Geena Davis) reveals Caitlin

does not make any sense. - BoJangels
- Jeff Gordon has a cameo in the movie in
one of the vegas scenes. (Source: Theater)
- Eliza

A cameo is a small, unbilled role. If
the name appears in the credits, it's
not a cameo. Jeff Gordon is credited -
he plays himself. - Webmaster

- When the T-Rex chomps the traffic light

- The civilian who gets eaten by the T-Rex

him and you will see he has a funny title
for him. - Bob
- There was an alternate ending to the movie.
One ending, what everyone saw, the T-rex rampages
through San Diego. The one they were considering
happens when the helicopter comes to rescue
them from the island. In this ending, only
concept art, there are two helicopters. Before
they can reach the helicopters they are attacked
by the flying dinos. They have problems, one
helicopter explodes then they escape on the
remaining helicopter and leave. Note this
was also considered for Jurassic Park III
when they get on the helicopter. (Source:
