  • Darth Vader's body was played by David Prowse, his voice by James Earl Jones, and his face by Sebastian Shaw.

  • During the Star Wars shoot, it took over 2.5 hours to fit Anthony Daniels into his C-3PO costume. By Return of the Jedi, the time had been reduced to 45 minutes.

  • So frustrated were the diminutive actors playing the ewoks in Return of the Jedi (then officially titled "Revenge of the Jedi") that they reportedly walked off the set, only to return within hours wearing shirts saying "Revenge of the Ewok."

  • Supposedly, by the time Return of the Jedi rolled around, Harrison Ford was so tired of his Han Solo character that he begged George Lucas to kill him off (the character, that is).

  • You notice that Wedge is the only pilot to make it through all 3 of the movies alive. - Road Dogg

  • When Chewie and the two Ewoks take over the AT-ST, the two Imperial commandos inside are played by the director, Richard Marquand and the producer, Howard Kazanjian.

  • A  tennis shoe appears as a space ship in the fighting sequence, towards the end. It appears in the top left-hand corner after the phrase "pressure steady." - the dude

  • Carrie Fisher was once quoted as saying that the Jabba's slave girl costume was like what supermodels wear on the seventh ring of hell. - El Mondo

  • Warwick Davis, aka "Willow," not only has a cameo in the Boonta Race in Episode 1, but he also played Wicket in "Return of the Jedi" (i.e. the Ewok that Leia meets on the Forest Moon of Endor). - The Texas Billionaire

  • In the scene in which the super Star Destroyer crashes against the second Death Star's surface, everybody starts shouting with joy, right? Turn the volume up when they are celebrating and you'll hear someone scream, "So long dick heads!!!!" It's either that or something just like it. - Mexican Dude

  • There is a short scene where Bib Fortuna goes up the bounty hunter and C-3PO and says something that sounds like, "He's gay." Then the bounty hunter and C-3PO look over at Boba Fett and Boba nods at them. That cracked me up! - Quignotz

  • "Return of the Jedi" was the name of Episode VI originally. Lucas just so the press wouldn't know. (Source: article) - BOB
    • Correction: No, Bob. Lucas originally called the movie "Revenge", but revenge NOT being a Jedi virtue, he decided on "Return" - he has answered that question before. - JBone

  • When the alliance are gathered and hearing the details of the new Death Star look at the guy in the top left hand corner, when the woman says "the Emperor himself is finally overseeing the construction", if you notice it is Ian McDiarmid (who plays the emperor). - Budgie

  • Endor was at first the home planet of the Wookies not the Ewoks. Imagine giant Wookies everywhere. (Source: http://members.tripod.com/starwarskids/facts.html) - TAZ

  • In the movie they never use the term Ewoks. Fans and creators use the name only because they are called Ewoks in the credits. (Source: http://www.cache.cow.net/~draith/sw/swtrivia.txt) - TAZ

  • There was two endings to the script, the one we didn't see was Lando Calrissian and The Millenium Falcon died in the death star as it blew up, but they decided to let them both live. "like, I'm not going to see her again...''. (Source: http://www.cache.cow.net/~draith/sw/swtrivia.txt) - TAZ

  • The song the Ewoks sing "Det luktar flingor här", is Swedish for "It smells of cereal here". (Source: http://www.cache.cow.net/~draith/sw/swtrivia.txt) - TAZ

  • At Jabba's palace there are 3 aliens called Klaatu, Barada and Nikto. These are the words that are used in The Day The Earth Stood Still to make Gort the robot move. (Source: The movie) - Ollie C
    • Addition: Don't these words also sound like what Ash had to say in order to retrieve the book of the dead safely in "Army of Darkness"??? (Source: Myself) - Marcera
      • Yes.
