- When ---- throws himself down the stairs,
if you look at his face, it is obviously a
stunt man. - David
- After the group threatens the commissioner,
when they are leaving through the back you
can see Bob has his pants when he pulls them
up you can tell he is wearing a fat suit.
- Loaded1215
- In the scene where Jack is 'thrown' down
the stairs, it is supposedly CCTV footage
but you can quite clearly see the CCTV camera
on the wall. - Mr_Wednesday
- The camera on the wall
might be another camera.
- I'm not currently watching the movie, but
there is one point where they are by the stairs
underneath Lou's. If you look on the left
side of the screen behind the stairs, you
can see Meatloaf taking oxygen because the
"bitch tits" suit he was wearing
practically suffocated him. (DVD/VHS) - OSURubydoo
- When Meatloaf and Ed Norton fight for the
first time, Meatloaf breaks one of the rules
of Fight Club: No shirts, no shoes. - Chubb's
- Tyler has a job as projectionist. He has
to switch the projectors at the exact moment
that one reel ends and the next one begins.
To do that he's got to be right there in the
place, WHILE the kids are watching the family-film.
At beginning of this scene jack explains:
"Tyler was a night person. While the
rest of us slept, he worked." Family-films
aren't shown late or in the middle of the
night and if so I guess there were no kids
watching it, right? (but in the movie there
are kids at the theatre). (DVD) - SHOoMZ
- In the beginning during "Jack's"
narration we see the "camera" drop
down into the foundation and parking garage
of the building they are in. Showing the van
with the explosives in it. This means they
would die too (as per the original book?)
when the bombs went off. - Mackie
- (Factual errors) There is a scene near the
beginning soon after Jack meets Tyler and
he calls him on the phone. No one answers
but then after Jack hangs up, the phone rings.
Tyler says something about being able to call
him back by using the Star69 feature on the
phone but later on in the movie it is shown
that Tyler was using a rotary phone and therefore
cannot be able to Star69 anyone who has called
him. (DVD) - krusher
- (Plot holes) When "Jack" goes
in the house to see what's going on and they
throw Bob on the table and he asks what happened,
the big guy says Bob was shot. When "Jack"
calls him Bob they make a big deal saying
that in project mayhem they don't have names.
(VHS) - supergirl
- (Continuity) In the part of the movie where
Lou from Lou's tavern is hitting Tyler Durden,
in the first shot he has blood on his lips
and face but they show him in the next shot
with his face is totally clean like he had
just wiped off the blood (which they don't
show him do.) (VHS) - jen
Commented
Goofs
- Bob breaks a rule of Fight Club by wearing
his shirt. Not that I would want to see him.
- Tyler
Durden
- Comment: Perhaps
they let "bitch " or Bob, slide
the rule because of his condition. Or
maybe we just didnt need to know he was
wearing a fat suit. - I
am Jack's sorry comment
Corrected
Goofs
- After disarming the bomb in the truck Tyler
restarts it. Then they go to watch the
explosions in a room in that building (As
seen in intro). Yet the bomb in that
building doesn't go off. - Phroday
- Correction:
In the movie, Tyler Durden says "come
on I got a great place to watch from."
This does not necessarily mean that it's
in that building. - Fighter
Man
- Correction:
In regards to Fighter Mans correction.
If you watch closely when the camera
goes down the side of the building
it goes into the basement garage of
the building they are sitting in.
- Loaded121
- Correction:
Actually if you watch closely Tyler never
restarts the bomb. He looks down at the
wiring, but never restarts it. That's
why the building they were in never exploded.
- The
Duke
- (Spoiler) Correction:
Um.... Phroday.... I think you missed
the whole point of the movie. Tyler is
not real. It's a figment of Edward Norton's
character's mind. He's not real, so HOW
could he have turned it off? Did you even
watch the whole movie? If he's not real,
then GASP* he..... can't...... turn.....
it...... off, only Edward's character
could. - Mac
Explained
Goofs
- If all the buildings are only wired with
explosives at the bottom, why do all the windows
on the buildings explode as if they were rigged
with explosives on each floor? - David
- Explanation:
If you put any pressure on windows such
as a building collapsing, the windows
would spray out, looking as if there were
other explosions on each floor. - Joey
- When Tyler and "Jack" are driving
in the car you can see the seat belt on him
then it off then it's back on him again. And
one more in the car you see Tyler is driving
but when they crash and there not up right
"Jack" gets out of the drivers side.
(VHS/DVD) - LeeLee
- Explanation:
If you watch the movie on DVD and listen
to the comments, you find out that the
director did the switch between driver
and passenger on purpose as a sort of
early hint to show that one character(Tyler)
wasn't real. The director even says that
people pointed this out to him when he
was showing it to the studio execs and
such and he had to tell them to wait,
that it would make sense in the end. -
