• When Preach is first being chased by the sharks you can clearly see his shirt unbuttoned but when he plunges into the water his shirt is buttoned then when he surfaces its unbuttoned once again. - Ash

• When that one guy gets his arm bit off, you can clearly see his real arm (which bends) is tucked under his coat. - David

• This isn't really a goof, but something that confuses me. When Preach is trapped in the kitchen with the shark, he climbs a metal shelf of trays and then starts to fall into the water when the trays tip over. Look closely and you can see that Preach is wearing giant kneepads under his pants. What's the deal?!? - Sean

• I'm not sure if this can be considered a goof or not, but when LL Cool J hides in the oven, the shark pounds on the oven to get at him and "accidentally" turns the oven on. The sound of gas can be heard going into the oven. Why doesn't the oven explode when Preacher hits the top of the metal oven with the metal "ax" and sparks are made? - Angellis

• In the beginning of the movie when the collage students were having a party on the boat, when the wine spills sharks don't see blood they smell it. - chili liles

Corrected Goofs

• When the group is in the elevator and LL cool J shows up in the next scene where it shows how they got out by a shirts tied together well here's the goof they pull up the shirts but a couple scenes later when preach is going to send out his tape if you look the shirts are hanging there after they've been pulled up. - Ash

  • Correction: You see the tied together shirts again after they've been pulled out of the elevator because Carter and the other guy had to go back down to the 2nd level to fiddle about with the big control panel while Susan went to get her disks and Preach makes his cooking video. - Jesus

• When Preach sets the shark on fire he is in the water all the time and yet the cigarette lighter still works. - al

  • Correction: If lighters get wet they still work. - chili liles

Explained Goofs

• When LL throws the lighter it still lights even though his finger isn't holding down the button thing.
  • Explanation: It was a petrol lighter he used so it doesn't have a (thingy) as you put it. - chiz
